Ingredients:
1 medium onion, diced
Bloody Mary Soup Preparation:Method:Melt the butter in a pan and use to fry the onion and celery for about 8 minutes, or until soft and golden brown. Add the tomato purée and sugar and cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly then pour in the tomato juice. Brig the mixture to a simmer and cook for 8 minutes before adding all the remaining ingredients. Take off the heat, pass through a fine-meashed sieve. Either serve immediately in warmed soup bowls or chill and serve cold. |
