Blazing Monster Eyes RecipeOrigin: America Period: Traditional |
Ingredients:
4 tbsp butter, softened
Blazing Monster Eyes Preparation:Method:Add the butter to a bowl and beat until soft then blend in the paprika and cayenne pepper. Add the cheeses and mix to combine, finally blend-in the flour. Bring the mixture together as a dough. In the meantime, insert a piece of pepperoni into each pitted olive. When you are done, take about 1 1/2 tsp of the dough and wrap about the olive so that the end of the olive with the paprika just protrudes as the iris of an eye. Roll the dough into a smooth ball and set on a baking tray lined with waxed paper. Place in an oven pre-heated to 200°C and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the pastry is firm and crisp, but not in the least coloured. Allow to cool on the baking tray for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve cold. Find more Halloween Recipes Here |
