Beetroot Salata
(Beetroot Salad) Recipe

Origin: Sudan      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

1 cooked beetroot, diced
2 carrots, diced
3 tomatoes blanched, peeled and diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
lettuce, shredded
4 spring onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp vinegar
1 lemon juice
1 tbsp sesame oil
pinch salt

(Beetroot Salad) Preparation:


Method:

Mix all the vegetables together in a bowl. Meanwhile whisk together the vinegar, lemon juice, sesame oil and salt. Use to dress the salad and toss to combine.
