Barbecue Steak Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

775g boneless chuck steak (about 4cm thick)
1 garlic clove, minced
60ml white wine vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
120ml Mushroom Catsup
1 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Barbecue Steak Preparation:


Method:

Cut the beef across the grain and on a slight diagonal to slices about 3cm wide. Place these in the base of your slow cooker (crockpot). Meanwhile, combine all the remaining ingredients in a small bowl then pour over the meat and mix to combine. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
