Barbecue Brisket Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

1 brisket (about 2kg)
300ml barbecue sauce

Barbecue Brisket Preparation:


Method:

Trim the brisket of any silvery skin then add the meat to your slow cooker (crockpot), pour the barbecue sauce over the top then cook on low for about 10 hours (the exact time will depend on the size of the meat). The meat is ready when it can be easily shredded with a pork.

Remove the meat and any sauce from the crockpot and shred the meat. It makes an excellent filling for sandwiches, tacos, pancakes and the like or it can simply be served hot on a bed of rice.
