Banana Frozen Daiquiri Cocktail Recipe

The International Bartenders' Association (IBA) is an international organization established to represent what are, reputedly, the best bartenders in the world. The IBA sanctions a list of official cocktails, of which the Banana Frozen Daiquiri is one. It ranks amongst the IBA's list of official pre-dinner cocktails.

Ingredients:

45ml White Rum
20ml Lemon or Lime Juice
5ml Gomme syrup
1/2 fresh banana
crushed ice

Garnishes:

Wedge of banana or plum

Serving Glass

Wine Goblet

Banana Frozen Daiquiri Cocktail Preparation:

Method:

Combine the rum, lemon (or lime) juice, Gomme syrup, banana cream and 2 scoops of crushed ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy then pour into a chilled wine goblet, garnish by placing the wedge of banana on the side of the glass and serve.
