Ingredients
280g cream of wheat (farina or ground wheat)
Banana Cream of Wheat Bread Preparation:Method:Combine the cream of wheat, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl then gradually add the bananas, eggs, water and oil. Blend thoroughly to combine then turn the batter into a well-greased 1kg loaf tin. Place in an oven pre-heated to 170°C and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake emerges cleanly. Allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes then turn onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely before serving. |
