Banana-Coconut Bake Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Modern

Ingredients

6 ripe medium-sized bananas
2 tbsp butter
80ml orange juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
60g brown sugar
120g shredded coconut

Banana-Coconut Bake Preparation:


Method:

Cut the bananas in half crosswise and cut each half lengthways in half. Place in a pie dish and dot with butter. Drizzle with orange and lemon juice then sprinkle with the brown sugar and coconut. Bake, uncovered, in an oven pre-heated to 190°C until the coconut is a golden brown colour. Serve with ice cream.
