Baked Potato Soup Recipe

Origin: Britain      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp celery
1/8 tsp pepper
850ml milk
400g mashed potatoes

Cheddar cheese
Paprika
Parsley

Baked Potato Soup Preparation:


Method:

In medium saucepan, heat the butter, onion, salt, celery salt, pepper and milk just to boiling. Then stir-in the mashed potatoes and continue cooking until smooth. Stir constantly constantly until smooth and warmed through then garnish with cheese chives, paprika and parsley (and crispy bacon if desired).
