Ingredients:
6 cooking apples, peeled and cored
Baked Apples with Butter Preparation:Method:Slice the apples quite thinly then arrange in layers in an earthenware baking dish. Add sugar and dots of butter between each layer, Scatter the lemon juice over the top then add a little more butter and sugar. Transfer to an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for about 25 minutes, or until cooked through and well browned. Serve with vanilla custard. |
