Origin: Greece      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

4 eggs
1 tbsp butter
salt and freshly-ground black pepper

(Fried Eggs) Preparation:


Method:

Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan then carefully break the eggs into the pan, ensuring that they remain whole. Season with salt and black pepper then continue cooking the eggs until the whites have solidified. Ensure you base occasionally with the butter from the pan to help cook the yolks. Divide in half and transfer onto two plates. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
