Asylum Cocktail Recipe

Some cocktails are so classic they simply stand the test of time and that's what the various cocktails in the Traditional Cocktails collection represent. The Asylum cocktail is one of these.

Ingredients:

1 dash (1/8 tsp) grenadine
30ml Pernod
30ml London dry gin
ice cubes

Garnishes:

stirring rod

Serving Glass

Old Fashioned Glass (also known as a tumbler)

Asylum Cocktail Preparation:

Method:

Pour the grenadine into the glass followed by the Pernod and then the gin (the order is important). Add two or 3 ice cubes and set aside for the ice to melt a little (this makes the Pernod cloud up in pretty patterns) then add a stirring rod and serve.
