Ingredients
675g cooking apples, peeled and cored
Apples with Sweet Cicely Preparation:Method:Cut the apples into slices and place in a heavy pan. Add just enough water to cover the bottom then pour in your sugar (to taste). Secure the lid tightly and cook slowly until the apples are soft then add the sweet cicely, take off the heat and allow to cool. This can be served chunky, as is, or you can puree through a sieve or blender. Serve with a dollop of clotted cream. |
