Ingredients:For the Apple Bread
150g vegetable shortening For the Topping
4 tbsp brown sugar
Apple Bread with Topping Preparation:Method:Combine all the ingredients for the bread together, beat well to form an even batter then divide between two greased loaf tins. Mix all the ingredients for the topping together and spread over the top of the batter in the two loaf tins. Place in an oven pre-heated to 160°C and bake for an hour. Allow to cool a little before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely. |
