Amar-el-Deen
This is a classic Egyptian drink made from dried apricot sheets (apricot leather) that are soaked, chilled and served. The high sugar content of the apricot leather makes this an excellent drink to end the Ramadan fast. I've already described the productio of apricot leather on this site, so I will give a traditional recipe here Ingredients:
300g Qamar-el-Deen (Apricot Leather)
