Affinity Cake RecipeOrigin: America Period: Modern |
|
This cake gains its name from the way it's made in that all the ingredients are simply mixed together in one go before baking. Thus the ingredients have an 'affinity' for one another. Ingredients:
160g butter
Affinity Cake Preparation:Method:Simply add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix together. Beat for 10 minutes to blend the ingredients then tip into a lined and greased springform cake tin. Place in an oven pre-heated to 160°C and bake for 50 minutes until the cake is golden and a skewer inserted into the centre emerges clean. |
