(Apple Scramble) Recipe

Origin: German      Period: Traditional

250 g flour
3 to 4 eggs
375ml milk
1 tsp salt
sugar, to taste
3 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
100 g butter
sugar for dusting

(Apple Scramble) Preparation:


Method:

Combine the flour, eggs, milk, and a little sugar and salt, and stir into a smooth dough. In a heavy pan, melt the butter and lightly fry the apples. Pour the dough over the apples and constantly stirring the whole with an egg turner, cook until the 'Kratzet' has browned all around. Dust with sugar, and serve.
