Adobo Beef RecipeOrigin: America Period: Traditional |
Ingredients:
4 (about 240g) beef sirloin steaks
Adobo Beef Preparation:Method:Mix together all the ingredients (except the beef) in a small bowl. Season the meat, place in a shallow dish and pour the lime and adobo sauce over the top. Turn the steaks a few times to ensure an even coating then cover the bowl and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Pre-heat a lightly-oiled griddle pan until hot then add the steaks and fry for about 5 minutes per side (or more depending on your desired level of doneness). Allow to rest for 2 minutes then serve. If cut into strips the meat also makes an excellent filling for fajitas. |
