For the Crust:
A Masterpiece Cheesecake Preparation:Method:Begin with the crust. Combine the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Pat into the base and slightly up the sides of a 22cm springform pan, the base of which has been gresed. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill as you prepare the filling. For the filling, beat the cream cheese until soft. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl then whisk into the cream cheese before beating in the sugar. Pour over the prepared crust then place the cheesecake in an oven pre-heated to 175°C. Bake for 20 minutes then remove from the oven and set aside to cool. Refrigerate for 2 hours before removing the sides of the pan. If desired, you can decorate the cake with your choice of fruit before serving. |
