240g blawd hunan-godi Hidlwch y blawd a'r pwodwr codi i fowlen cyn ychwanegu'r menyn a'ir riwbio i fewn gyda'ch bysedd nes fod y gymysgfa yn debyg i friwsion bara. Gratiwch y caws i'r gymysgfa cyn ychwanegu'r siwgwr. Cymysgwch i gyfuno'r cyfan yna ychwanegwch y llefrith ychydig ar y tro nes fod y cymysgfa yn glynu fel toes meddal ond cadarn.
English TranslationIngredients:
240g self-raising flour Method:Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together into a bowl. Add the butter and rub in with your fingers until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Grate the cheese into the mixture and add the sugar. Mix to combine then add the milk a little at a time until the mixture comes together as a soft, firm, dough. Turn onto a floured work surface and roll out to about 4cm thick. Cut into rounds about 6cm in diameter with a pastry cutter and transfer to a greased baking tray. Brush the tops with warm milk then place in an oven pre-heated to 200°C and bake for about 10 minutes, or until well risen and golden brown on top. Allow to cool on a wire rack and serve warm with butter and jam. |
