English Translation

This is a thick batter that is fried as a part of a traditional farmhouse breakfast. Traditioanlly, it was fried in the same pan that was used to cook the bacon, sausages and eggs.

Ingredients:

300g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
milk

Method:

After frying your bacon, sausages and eggs for breakfast leave the fat in the pan. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl then add enough milk to form a thick, smooth, batter. Turn the batter into the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.

Cut into generous wedges and serve as an accompaniment to breakfast.
