All the countries of the Continent of Africa are represented here with a (growing) number of recipes representing each. There are well over 1000 recipes in this collection, whish represents the largest collection of native and traditional African recipes gathered in one place on the internet.

Africa is the world's second largest and second most populous continent. Apart from a land bridge connecting Egypt to the Arabian Peninsula now cut but the Suez Canal) Africa is entirely surrounded by seas: the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. It is the only continent that traverses from the Northern Temperate Zone across the topics to the Southern Temperate Zone. The countries of Africa are:
