Welcome to the Celtnet 'One Dollar Links' page. This page has now been discontinued... We've had to completely re-think our policy on this links page and now we've come-up with a completely new idea. We really believe that this will be a very good thing as far as you're concerned, so don't worry if you came to this page searching for a way to gain good links back to your website.

This web page was always intended as a means of supporting my Help Stefan charity. But the aims of this campaign have grown beyond what it was originally intended for. The UN-sponsored school for the children of the Liberian refugees in Dakar, Senegal has now closed. I am seeking to gain the funding to replace this school so that, at the very least, the children of those displaced by the civil wars in Liberia an Sierra Leone have the ability to achieve a future for themselves.

As a result I'm running a new One Million People to show the refugees in Dakar what a large number of people, donating an insignificant amount of money can achieve. What I'm asking from you is either a 50c or a $1 donation — that's all. And before you leave this page without donating. Just think on this: say that 3000 people a day visit this site. Of those say that only 1 in 10 decide to donate something. That's still $300 a day in donations; which is $2100 a week. That's enough to give one chile an education in the Senegalese system for a year. But it we can get up to the hoped-for number of 1 Million people then that gives enough money to build an English-language school in Dakar and to provide teachers and materials to keep it running. Your donation is really important an $1 is a truly insignificant amount of money for a single individual. But collectively it can make a truly huge difference for hundreds of children.

There you can enter your name, courtry, add a profile of your self and you can add an URL to any page you like. If you pay $1 you can also add a description that will be used with this URL. As soon as you enter your information it will be live on this system. You automatically get a link back to your site from the main One Million People page as well as the 'donation' page that provides your personal description. I should also say that all links are SEO friendly and that there's no trickery going on. Also you're not actually paying for a link here. You are making a donation to a charity and I am allowing all people who donate to be features on this website as a 'thank you' for your generosit.
