Leusdrinus is a deity known from a single inscription found at La Penne, Alpes Maritimes, France (CIL XII 0002) where he is invoked as Mars Leusdrinus. Save for his assimilation with Mars by interpretato Romana nothing is known of this deity.
Theis deity's name is also provides us a problem in terms of its interpretation. However the second element in the name, drinus is undoubtedly derived from the reconstructed proto-Celtic root *drinno-/drenno- (quarrel), the first element of the name is more problematic but may be related to the proto-Celtic root *lug- (oath). Both these components may be legal in application and thus Leusdrinus may be a lawgiver deity and the name can be interpreted as 'Resolver of Quarrels'.
