Bormanna is a Gaulish goddess of healing springs and consort of the god Bormo. This would indicate that she was a goddess of healing (if she shares the same aspects as Bormo).
Inscriptions to this deity have been found at Saint-Vulbas, Ain and Aix-en-Diois, Drôme, France. Like that of Bormo, her name is derived from the proto-Celtic roots *berw- (to boil, to cook) and *anna- (breathe) giving: 'Boiling Breath' which strongly indicates that she was a goddess of hot springs, her 'boiling [steaming] breath' being the mist of water vapour seen above such waters.
