So, what is this thing, you may ask. Well, those of you who know a little bit about me know that I started off as a scientist. A physicist in fact and I've been using my mathematical skills to develop a whole new way of magnifying a web page's rankings and search engine positions using nothing but free resources. Now, the system isn't completely ready for prime-time quite yet, but I can tell you that the results on the URLs I've tried it on so far have been spectacular. And it works for deep linking, too... Keep your eyes peeled, as you can expect a major announcement about this by the end of next month. This, however, is the first time I've even hinted to anyone that such a system even exists.

Going from Making Money on the Internet to Earning a Living on the Internet

What are you really after from your on-line marketing efforts? If you want to make an income from the web, then you're there with a whole range of other people trying to do the same.
The truth is that making money from the web is easy. But making an income from the internet is extremely difficult. This is where you have to be very careful when reading the copy of any internet marketer. Anyone can tell you how to make an income from the web. Indeed, I'll give the secret away right now — you create a website and place ads on it.
There, I've just given away the whole secret to making money from the internet. And before you start laughing... This really is a way of making money off the web. However, even after lots of content building and link creation you're probably not going to get more than $200 per month with this method. Which is not to be sneered at, many websites struggle for years to make even this modest amount (my first site certainly did).
But therein lies the real truth about how to convert the process of making money on the web (which anyone with just about any website can do) to making an income on the web. If you can turn just one website into $200 a month then you can add another website and another and soon you're not just making money on the web, you're making a proper income.
Of course, what you've done is to produce a single formula before repeating it over and over again. It's great, because it works. But it does leave you potentially exposed and vulnerable to changes in both the market and prevailing conditions. So, what you need to do is to diversify your tactics as well as replicating what has already worked for you.You need multiple streams of income and not just a single stream.
But whatever your overall strategy, and however you are going to make money (and an income!) on the internet, you will need to get traffic to your site. The more traffic you get, the better your site will perform and the more money you will make over-all. This means building your in-coming links and converting your site into an 'authority site'.
This means a site that has a very large number of in-coming links and which Google's algorithm believes offers good content to a site's visitors. As a result, you can get multiple search hits from your site ranked at the top of Google, even when they're not supposed to be!
Take for example a search for 'cats'. If you do this search in Google (without the quotes!) you will see that the #1 match is Wikipedia.com and references the actual animal. But the #2 match is also from Wikipedia, but it's about the West End/Broadway musical of the same name. Now, the second result is indented. This means that it really shouldn't be #2 (it might actually be result 15, or even more) but as Wikipedia.com is what Google considers an authority, it get's little bumps like this. Which is pretty neat.
But you don't have to be a huge information portal like Wikipedia to be considered an 'authority' any site can do it and it should be the aim of every site to become an authority in their area of expertise. I know, because I've done it several times myself.
Now, back in the day (and it really wasn't that long ago!), search engine optimization professionals and do it yourselfers had to do everything by hand. It took forever and one simple mistake could mean weeks of work down the drain. Today however, there are plenty of software tools to help get the job done in a fraction of the time. Just find the BEST one for what you want to accomplish.
If you're following the advice in this article, then you need a system or an application that can help with linking so that you can build your 'authority' status and check ranking progress. Over the past six or seven years I've personally used nearly a dozen pieces of software, all of which were claiming to be the best.
Now, some of these were pretty good, but others were a complete waste of time and space. But there's one piece of software I keep on coming back to again and again. And it's a piece of software I also actively recommend to my various students. That software is: SEO Elite because it gets fantastic results and is one of the most affordable options at $167.

What's Hot in ClickBank
With so much of my focus going on ClickBank and ClickBank associated pages over the past few (and the forthcoming months) I thought that I should add a weekly digest of What's Hot in ClickBank to you, my loyal readers. Each weekend I update the ClickBank feed for my Celtnet ClickBank Marketplace, which then drives the various Free ClickBank search and Ads Code systems I provide. I've also started to perform analyses of the current against the previous ClicBank datafeed releases. Each time ClickBank perform a new release they analyze their sales and other data for that time period and they re-evaluate product rankings on this basis. New products come in, old products fall out of the system and product rankings go up and go down. I will soon be making a full digest of these data available so you can check which products have moved, how the products you are promoting are doing, as well as keeping you informed of any product price changes...
What this isn't is a list of all the top products for the week. Indeed, the top products probably aren't the ones you should promote as there's a lot of competition out there. Rather, what I'm presenting is a digest of the 'hot' mid range products. The ones that are on the up. I also support these product statements with an analysis of what people are searching for on my system. And you have to remember that I annotate all he ClickBank products by hand so my Celtnet ClickBank Search System ClickBank search system is one of the most comprehensive out there, and certainly better that ClickBank's own serach system. It's also the same system that drives my Free ClickBank Search Code, allowing you to put comprehensive ClickBank searches on your site.
The ClickBank database driving this site was updated on Tuesday 27th May 2008 with the inclusion of 134 new products into the ClickBank system. These have been uploaded and annotated into the Celtnet ClickBank Marketplace and are now searchable. All the products have had their images updated and the products in ClckBank's 'top 30' in all categories have had their descriptions and sales text to make them easier for you to sell!
There fall-out from ClickBank's recent alteration to their ranking algorithm now seems over and product movement in the top 30 rankings seem to have stabilized. This time, as a result, there's much less churn in my Cletnet ClickBank Marketplace Digest.
Of the various searches performed on my site during the previous week, two really stand out. The first is for anything to do with 'weight loss' and the second for the terms 'forex trading' or clear debt so you can see that the economic downturn and the efect of Christmas bills are the two things foremost on people's mind. Interestingly, however, the products that are making most advances in terms of ClickBank rankings are all those to do with gardening (search for gardening greenhouse orchids. These seem to be the products to promote at the moment and if you can build a niche site around these terms then using these ad feeds for your site would be a real boon. Remember that it will soon be even easier for you to have these ads on your site as you can use an RSS feed along with your AdSense ads. I'll provide you with all the tools you need!

Getting more Revenue from Squidoo or Hubpage
Do you use Suidoo and/or Hubpages to promote your products and service, to perform affiliate marketing or as an additional source of income? If not, then why not?! They're excellent sources of additioal links and income for you. However, they can be a bit restrictive in what you can put up on them and how you can pull-in the money. But what if I could show you a simple method whereby you can squeeze more money from Squidoo lenses and Hubpages articles...
Both these systems allow you to add RSS feeds by just copying and pasting the RSS code into a spacial block or module. As it happens, as part of the Celtnet site's ClickBank Marketplace you can easliy create RSS feeds for any products in ClickBank you want. Just go to the Create ClickBank RSS Ads page type-in your ClickBank 'nickname' and select from the options which ads you need. You will get a single line of code back, which is your RSS feed with your ClickBank affiliate ID already embedded in there. Just copy this and type it into the Squidoo or Hubpage and let the system do the rest.

Links, Links, Links...
Yes, I know, we're back to the link building issues again. But links are important they're the life-blood of your on-line presence. This is why link-building simply has to be a standard part of your everyday startegy. You need to keep writing and submitting articles, you need to keep-up with your link-building and exchange efforts and you need to maintain those blog posts.
Whatever your web presence, as long as you have some kind of presence on the internet then you will need traffic to your site. The only way to get traffic to your site is to get more in-bound links. How you do this is up to you. But if you ignore getting links then you are simply allowing a good portion of what should be your internet-based income to be frittered away. Look at it this way, if you can gain a hundred new links from quality sites you could double your website's traffic... And writing articles is a great way of doing this. Each article allows you at least two back-links and you should have no problem creating 6 articles in a day. This means 12 articles per day and 100 back-links in less than two weeks!
Of course, all this is a lot of effort (which really does need to be done) but getting and maintaining links will eat into the time you have for adding content to your site. if you want to out-source this effort and can afford it then you could use the services of http://www.mysitesubmit.com (which have very reasonable plans and whom I can personally vouch for) to get immediate traffic to his site and to improve back-links. I used these guys when I was starting out as they're cheap but efficient. Now, though I would recommends AmazingBillboards 'Full Service Marketing' as the package of choice for any webmaster who needs lots of guaranteed traffic.
