Monetize your Site with ClickBank
The ClickBank marketplace is both one of the most amazing and one of the most disappointing places for any internet marketer. The range and breadth of products present there is breathtaking. There are almost 10 000 products in every marketing nich imaginable, most offering affiliate revenues of between 30% and 65% of the final market price. As such it's a honeypot for internet marketers seeking to make an income for their site through affiliate marketing. As such ClickBank itself is geared towards putting potential affiliates in touch with vendors - that is, those selling the products themselves. In effect ClickBank is a large marketplace for putting together vendors and their marketers - you.
The usual way of using ClickBank is to sign-up for an id (called a nickname). This process generally being both painless and free. Once you're signed up you then look for a range of products in the niche that you're interested in and get the URL (called a 'hoplink' in ClickBank parlance) into which you insert your 'nickname'. You're then ready to go. However, the ClickBank system, as it's geared towards showing how good a product is for a vendor to promote. is pretty useless if you want product information for you to promote that product on your site. This means that you will need to go to the vendor' squeeze page to pick-up information about the product itself. If you have a slew of products you're interested in promoting this will be both frustrating and time-consuming.
Of course, once you have the product information you have to build your own pages about those products then you have to promote the products themselves. Unless you have a site with lots of traffic, and unless you can afford PPC (pay-per-click) advertising this imposes a bar on who can effectively promote ClickBank products (and hope to sell them). This is potentially a very big problem to 'newbie' internet marketers and those hoping to subsidize their incomes from writing Blogs or creating websites. It also means that a large potential market for ClickBank products is going begging.
If you're a new presence on the web, or new at internet marketing in general, why should you devote any time to ClickBank products. Well, let's look at it this way. If you place AdSense ads on your site you will typically make tens of cents from any click. but if you had equivalent ads that displayed ClickBank products you could make $10 or more from any sale made. Notice the difference? If only there was an easy way to monetize your site with ClickBank products...

Again you can define your own product selection and you can create as many feeds as you need for your site. This complies completely with Google's TOS (Terms of Service) as RSS feeds are considered 'news' rather than advertising. All you need to do is to supply an aggregator or integration system to your website's back end and you're away. You've just added and extra revenue stream to your website and/or blog.
Finally, the bar to adding ads and affiliate products to your site or blog has almost been removed completely. As long as you get a nickname for Clickbank you can now use the Celtnet site to create ads for your site.
Just remember this, Google's adsense pays you pennies for each ad. Clickbank ads can make you $10 or more every time someone buys a product. If you really want to monetize your website then adding revenue from Clickbank affiliate ads is the way to go about it. The Celtnet site's tools just make this simple and effective for anyone to use.
