Are you sick and tired of the up-hill struggle in Internet Marketing. Are you, like me, searching for new methods to monetize and add revenue to your site but are frustrated at every turn... Well, I was. Everyone wanted money for this or that silly little thing and when you paid for something it really wasn't worth the cash shelled-out in the end.
I was also trying to monetize my site to support a charity: the One Million People that I'm sponsoring. But whatever I did (apart from adding free content to my site) didn't seem to bring any new income or revenue in. Even worse, some of the larger revenue generating systems that could potentially make small internet marketers lots of money were aimed at gaining affiliates to sell those products rather than marketing the products themselves.
In the most part I'm talking about ClickBank here, which is a huge marketplace of electronic products all available for instant download and which come with an amazing 8-week no-quibbles money back guarantee. If you want to sell affiliate products to your users this is most definitely the program to be involved with. The only problem is that all the information provided by ClickBank is aimed at affiliates. So you get things like '70% payout' or 'converts like crazy' in the product descriptions. Which is not what you want to present to any potential purchaser.
I was certain that someone had solved the problem I had before and, yes, there were many products out there who had downloaded and parsed the ClickBank database and made it available to others. But, for me, that was a trivial part of the equation (I could write this code in half an hour). When I looked in even more detail there were only two products that replaced the ClickBank descriptions with more meaningful descriptions. But even they used 'screen scrapes' from vendors' websites to populate their titles and descriptons. Again this was great on the surface but when you started to dig you saw so much garbage in the descriptions that they were useless as selling tools. Then there was the price they were charging...
This is when I got angry... The truth is that I'm a half-way decent programmer and how difficult could the code I needed to write be anyway? Actually it wasn't that complex at all. But the product titles and descriptons were still a problem so I decided to go through all the products and generating the titles and descriptions by hand. Soon I had a ClickBank database, a Advanced Search System and even an RSS Feed. But to make some real money I needed to get the word about my products out. I also figured that I could do a lot of work to help other marketers. So I decided to make all my products generally available. To make every marketing component I was writing freely available to everyone. The first of these was the:
You will have seen the search box above (or something like it) on all my pages. But the thing is I wrote the search system with just about any website in mind. In fact you can deploy the search system on any website and most blogs. The only thing you need for it to work is the code and your own ClickBank 'nickname' which you can get FREE here.
The entire code for this and two other ClickBank Marketplace search boxes Are Available Here. All you need to do is to copy and past the code from my Free ClickBank Search Code page into your own website then just change the bits of code that read 'YourClickBankName' to your actual ClickBank nickname and your're ready to go! Yes, you've just added a ClickBank search to your website and you will earn money from anyone who buys a ClickBank item using it.
The next step was a little more involved, but much cooler:
Do you like it? Well, it's a real 'live' example from my site not gif (as so many competing products show). What's better is that I've designed a form for you to create your own! Using my ClickBank Ads Generator you can input your ClickBank nickname, cose the style of your ads, the border colour, background and text colours. You can even specify which specific area of ClickBank you want the ads for (or you can use a set of keywords). Pretty much everything you need to make the ads blend with your site. And they work! That's why I wanted to show you the real 'live' example above as this is created from code copied and pasted directly from my ClickBank Ads Generator.
Just like Google's AdSense you can choose the style and size of oyur ads. They're presented in an 'iframe' (just like Amazon product feeds) and are generated 'on the fly'. This means that each time your page is refreshed new products are show in your ads. Each time I update my ClickBank database all he new products become available to you (and all this without you having to do anything, once you've palced the ads on your site.

However, as these ads are associated with images and images are great for driving sales these style of ads can be very effective at driving new sales to your site. Why not compare them to your old ads and see what happens.
But what about those sites who can't show ads in iframes or who don't want other contextual ads because they're using Google? Well, I've even come-up with a soluton for you:
Click here to view the live ClickBank RSS Ads Feed. As this is a news feed rather than a set of ads they're allowed by Google. They can also be incorporated into just about any Website or Blog with an aggregator or display software (how you implement is up to you, but there are loads of solutions available). Once again, just to make things easy I created an RSS Ads Generator page to my site. It's another simple-to use form just add your ClickBank affiliate ID to form generator, choose the secton of ClickBank you want your ads from (or select a series of keywords) and the code will generate your RSS feed URL for you. You can veiw your feed from a link and the URL of your feed is auto-generated for you so you only need to copy and paste. Once again the ClickBank RSS Generator creates a dynamic link so that each time someone views your feed they see new products and won't get bored. You can also create multiple feeds to place in different places on your site.
What my frustration at ClickBank and other marketers' efforts has led me to do is to generate a complete set of ClickBank tools that anyone can use and deploy on their website completely free. Yes, I don't ask you to sign-up for anything and you are free to use the tools any way you wish to help you monetize your own website. You add your ClickBank nickname to the code and you make the money from any sales made.
So, what's in it for me then? Why bother writing all this code and then just give it away. Well, I wrote this to help the charity campaign I'm sponsoring. As a result 8% of all sales made are credited to me. Basically I randomly insert this site's ClickBank ID into 8% of all the links displayed on your site (or found through searches from your site). You still make 92% of all sales! I'm not being greedy here and I'm only after a sensible percentage for the charity that's all. The rest of this is born of my anger and disappointment at the efforts of other marketers. I'm hoping that the product I have here is the 'best in class' for its ease of use, its being free and my hand-editing the raw data (which no-one else does). Making money on the interent is hard and your success will help fund the Help Stefan Campaign which is very close to my hart. If you use these tools and prosper by them then my work here is done...
