Expanding your Advertising Revenue Streams

For these and other reasons most people stick with AdSense ads and that's about it. But if you did some investigation and performed a little research you will soon find that there are several ad systems out there that are compatible with Google's AdSense and which you can easily add to your website to begin earning you an additional income.
The first of these is WidgetBuck$ (widgetbucks) which allows you to click contextual ad 'widgets' basically JavaScript windows that allow you to pick products or product categories that also show product price comparisons and product rotations. You have a range of product categories to choose from and a range of ad styles so there's something here for most websites. They're AdSense compatible and so if you have a product-based website or a website where you provide product information these can be a great addition.
Pay-per-Play. This is the latest potential 'big thing' on the internet. The network provides you with a short piece of JavaScript that allows you to play a short (5 second) audio advertisement on your site. You are paid each and every time the ad plays and because it's so short you don't put your site visitors off. It's compatible with AdSense and it pays you each time the ad is played (basically each time someone loads your web page). No that's a great way of earning more passive income!
RSS feed ads. Google's TOSes allow RSS feeds to be integrated into any web page and/or web site. After all, RSS feeds are simply a way of integrating news and newsworthy events into your website. But there's nothing preventing an RSS feed from being created out of a product feed. I've done just that on my own ClickBank RSS feed generation page. You can choose exactly which products and product categories you want in the feed and because the information is served to you dynamically your site visitors see a different set of ads each time. It just needs a little work from you to integrate the feed properly into your site (and that's not really difficult).
Banner ads. These have been around for ages, but they can still be valuable additions in attempts at monetizing your website.
Amazon ads. Admittedly, these probably won't earn you much. But if you have some spare acreage on you website it may well be be worth your while joining the Amazon partners scheme and placing Amazon ads on your site.
These are my top 5 recommendations for squeezing extra money from each page on your site. All the programs are completely free to join and you lose nothing from at least trying these ads on your site. At worst you will gain no further income than you currently do, at best, you may just find a worthwhile source of additional money.
As ever, place the ads with a light hand. This is where the pay-per-play and RSS ads are good, as are Amazon ads as you can better integrate them into your site's layout.
I hope that this information will help you improve your on-line earnings.
